And I would add that it's not because one is "slow" that is often the impediment. Whether you count yourself as one who can "handle the truth" of "evil stuff" or you just trust others to witness and attest to the rest of us, it's still a very human instinct to manage information in a way that doesn't feel so damn threatening all of the time. So the brain is in the business of short cuts. Path of least resistance type of beliefs are a bit of a relief valve to the modern condition of overstimulation. Its not a weakness if you acknowledge and don't deny it. But if you've erroneously convinced yourself that you're overQualified for the job of life at hand, it can be tough to allow for corrections.
