Talking will solve nothing. The new Congress will need to take some initiative to actually solve problems. Start with starving the addicts of their drug of choice - money. Cut block grants in half, eliminate aid to international organizations, restrict all foreign aid to require accounting. Set a 10 year down slope for all non-constitutional departments and agencies - Education, EPA, HUD, etc. None of that will pass the Senate, but will form the basis for joint sessions and will begin the process of The Dems being forced to compromise and cede power.
