My Local Kroger Pharmacy Has Removed All Signage Concerning Covid and Covid Vaccinations
🏆 - WINNING - 🏆
They even took it off the board of vaccinations offered while they still show 9 other Vaccinations available. All of the C19 home tests are gone from the shelves as well. They have a sticker on one pharmacy window saying the vax was available. There is an 8-foot-wide decorative shelf that is empty, but they put a small display of water flavoring drops on it covering the window Vax sticker.
I guess the Twitter Files and died suddenly info has changed things.
me me me, please, fren! We recently fled TX and now live in Maryville!
Side question: Why did you "flee" from Texas? I thought it was a pretty red state still.
We lived in San Antonio, off and on for 45+ years (military.) But it's just gotten so overcrowded, the property taxes are so so so high (8k for a 1750 sq ft house on .18 acres), the influx of people from other countries, the cartels, the crime, the traffic, did I say it's overcrowded? We're very happy here in Maryville, 20 miles from any interstate, out in the county, it's pretty quiet, and the cost of living is reasonable. We love it!
I completely understand.
Well hey there, neighbor. West Knox County for us. There are ACTUALLY a few pharmacies that will fill an order for Ivermectin, here:
Rocky Hill Pharmacy; 7660 S. Northshore Dr., Knoxville
Village Pharmacy; 4206 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville
Village Pharmacy; 2541 Broadway, Maryville (close to you)
and the one we used...
Heartland Apothecary; 9947 Kingston Pike, Knoxville (west)
I believe all of these are compounding pharmacies, meaning they will create Ivermectin doses and regimens specifically for your body weight. My supply is of 16mg capsules, taken 2x daily for 5-7 days. My wife's is 25mg capsules taken 1x a day for 5-7 days.
There is no real impediment to getting these filled, but they do ask you to fill out a form listing your prescriptions or to look at a list of prescriptions (maybe 18 in all) that, if you're taking them, you should not take Ivermectin. Most of the drugs listed are for cancer treatments and were drugs I'd never heard of. So they filled the orders for us in about 15 minutes, no hassle, no other questions asked.
You might also want to know that we have gun shows here about every 2 months. The next R.K. Knoxville Gun Show will be held next on Jan 14th-15th, 2023 with additional shows on Feb 25th-26th, 2023, and Apr 22nd-23rd, 2023 in Knoxville, TN. They are held at the Expo Center on Clinton Hwy, Knoxville. It's easy to get to from Maryville, just come in on Pellissippi Hwy, get onto I-75 and then take the I-640 bypass and exit onto Clinton Hwy. GPS should be able to get you there. You can find firearms, ammo, antique firearms, military stuff, and all kinds of gun gear.
Good luck, and welcome to Tennessee.
Thanks so much, neighbor!
The village pharmacy in Maryville compounds for the retail store on Chapman hwy so Maryville residents may not need to order ahead. The Phoenix pharmacy on gay Street has the hard pills instead of compounded capsules. Most of the compounding pharmacies know about the law. The chains like Walgreens and Costco just opt out by not filling with or without prescription.
Ah, another neighbor, hi there. Good info, thanks. What I found so dismal about talking to the Kroger & Walgreen pharmacy people was their sneering dismissive attitudes. They didn't exactly say "Go away, bub, you're bothering us," but it was quite implicit in their demeanor. So apparently part of their refusal included being somewhat rude to the would-be customer.
The purple haired Pat at Walgreens was extremely rude and told me that there was no law and asking for prescription drugs without a prescription was illegal. When I gave specifics and politely asked he/she to ask the pharmacist since he/she admitted it didn't know about the law. The apparent eunuch started yelling and let me know that it was the authority because it was a pharmacy cashier. The actual pharmacist who went to school, came over to calm down the triggered leftist and explained to both of us that he was aware of the law but Walgreens made a corporate policy to not participate. I thanked him for the information I was seeking and have never darkened their door since.
