The only way? Really? We beat every other virus in history, but this one requires a technology that only hit mass adoption within the last 10 years? A technology that is still not accessible in the developing world?

His comments on terrorism and viruses are interesting, because before mass third world immigration and government sponsored terrorism, we didn't even think about terrorism. And before COVID we didn't even entertain the idea that one needed to be "safe" from viruses.
