I want to know what good it would do to kill her in secret? I can't say whether they have or not, but the death penalty is supposed to be the ultimate deterrent. The effect is sort of lost if it isn't at least available for the public to see, especially considering the seriousness of her alleged crimes. Otherwise, there will only be conjecture about whether she is still alive or not and then we're back to square one
