1st week of 2023, I'm the only one at work. Everyone (they all got 5 shots) tested positive, feeling ill, etc.
I'm the only one here, feeling fine. I don't even know what a PCR test look like. Just feeling like the zombie apocalypse when you're the last man standing.
I'm wondering what the next couple of years will bring and how many I know will still be here.
Remember before Cofraud19, if you had a cold, you took some meds and sucked it and went to work. Then Cofraud 19 hit and if you had a sniffle you had to stay home. Soon companies will tell staff to come to work unless a Dr says you are unable to work. That's how it used to be, no Dr's note, and you had to be at work. And the Dr's note had to say your illness prevented you from performing your assigned work task. This Cofraud 19 had turned everyone into pansies.
Extreme Hypochondria has taken hold.
I think it depends on how big of a company you work for. Mom and pop places likely don’t have “official policy” like corporate overlords do
Unfortunately, I worked at a place with a liberal sick time policy, and people took advantage of it, so in order to prevent people from abusing the system, anyone sick for more that 2 days had to have a Dr’s note on day three. We have 10,000 employees where I work.
Most jobs if you are out more than 2 days sick require a doctor note. I have been working for 42 years, I work in jobs that pay good wages usually factories..from window and door production to food production factories. I work in manufacturing and that’s how it has always been
