I am no expert on NFL hits. But I have played football. I even broke my arm once. We were at my daughter's house playing cards. We have never seen the need to bring an Alumbulance on the field. We have never seen players physically ill and throwing up on the field. It looks like the kid was hit in the chest, It did not look like that hard of a hit. But I bet I could not take the hit. Prayers for the young man. And I hope he will survive and get back on the football field.
Hold up. How did you break your arm playing cards at your daughter's house? Wtf kinda cards you playin' Anon?
Strip poker.

Respectfully, this does happen, even for less dire injuries. A good example is a compound broken bone in a leg that is bleeding and the player is too big to easily carry. I've seen this a couple times in 13 years of playing the sport and 40+ years of watching it.
