.....
In the before times, a serious sports injury on national television was often a pretty big story on the news the following day.
As always our first thought is "I hope he's all right."
Now, it has become is so much more.
Our current situation has added a dimension of interest we've never seen before.
Everyone that hears about it has one immediate question, is he or isn't he?
Then comes the inevitable question, what is going to happen to me?
Whether he has been vaccinated or not isn't really the point.
It is now about the awareness. And this is the big story.
Thank you for reading.
.....
That doesn't matter though, because as soon as something else is on the TV to distract them, they'll forget all about it.
This is the "awareness" that needs to be had. Even if literally every person on earth ends up on the same page and cosigns to all of the beliefs/facts under the Q umbrella, still you won't like how much they care, and for what reasons. Nobody even wants to live in that world anymore. One where how outraged someone can look is a measure of their value. Isn't that how we ended up with Facebooks, likes, tweeting opinions about everything under the sun to the world, and forming hierarchies around in groups and out groups. Elites take over. They know best. No. Thought conformity is bunko.
Need to really emphasize education & reading. When I think about the knowledge & wisdom of our Founding Fathers, I know how much we have fallen.
I agree. And I'm not down with book burning. Of any kind.
Plenty of LGBTQ kids books out there that need not exist. Burning books has its place.
