I think Trump is endorsing McCarthy so that Dems won't join in and vote for McCarthy and get him elected Speaker. I don't think Trump wants KM as the Speaker. He is playing on the Dems TDS - they could easily get McCarthy in as Speaker.
This is exactly what I thought. He knew people wouldn't vote KM if he endorsed him. Been seeing so much hate on the matter, but people are forgetting there's more happening than we know - or can see OR even understand.
Is Trump perfect? Heck no, but it's hard to think he'd do anything to intentionally harm the country he's shown he's passionate about.
