Fren, I understand how tempting it can be to post sensationalist content like this. These sorts of sites - and News punch has been doing this for many years - pump out sensationalist tabloid-level content that mizes facts with fiction, and essentially funnels disinformation under the flag of sensationalism.
Could very easily be a paid disinfo site designed to inject bad content into the truth sphere, to undermine and destabilize, but getting otherwise awake and sensible people to accept rubbish, unverifiable information that discredits the whole truth sphere when it proves to be false.
Can I request or urge you to read carefully through the article. Even a little digging should reveal how clickbaity this site is. Take the story about how a Judge in NZ declared that "12-year-old children can consent to sexual intercourse with adults." Baxter (the 'name' of the sole source of all of Newspunch content, goes on to say, welcome to Schwab's NZ.
But read that article too, then the NZ Herald report.
Why did Newspunch / Baxter NOT post an article headline saying the man was found guilty? Instead, they headline the so-called statement by the judge. Why? Because its clickbait and disinfo.
Reading the NZ herald article, it becomes clear that there has been an existing loophole in NZ law that has allowed consent by minors to be used as a defense in rape etc cases. ALL the judge was doing was explaining to the jury the existing law, as is his responsibility.
Read the article. The judge almost wept when the man was found guilty out of sympathy with the women who were abused, and expressed his agreement with the decision.
"It is always hard to see young people in court who are victims of such crimes and to see them have to relive these events is difficult for everybody," he said.
"If this is any comfort for you, I agree with your verdicts. I have seen you be diligent in your task and I have seen the toll this has had on you all personally," he said.
This makes NO sense if he was pushing some pedo agenda. But the Newspunch article paints its OWN picture, as if this is because of the Schwab agenda, etc.
About 5 years ago, I did a dig on Newspunch and a related clickbait site. When you scratch below the surface, either of the 'articles' (hahahah) or the actual site and its sources, etc, you find what is really there: garbage.
How do tabloid papers work and WHY do people indulge in them? The work to make money off the gullible, by applying some basic psychological tools and weapons, including sensationalism that comforts, feeds into confirmation biases or fears, triggers an emotional response that is less than discerning, or analytical. It's garbage junk food for the mind.
There are lots of clickbait shysters out there who see a buck they can make OR otherwise feed disinfo into patriots, etc, using the same sort of techniques. IN the best case scenarios, some people are just larping, getting jollies off making people believe outrageous stuff. Less good are the people using it to make money. The real worst, however, are very likely paid disinfo outlets whose job it is to disturb, distort the truth sphere and inject chaos and ignorance, by tripping people up.
When a fake disinfo story is spread around, it becomes the easy fodder for mainstream outlets to then discredit the 'conspiracy theory' community, and this becomes a method for embedding in normies minds that "it's all garbage".
If we don't think there are deliberate efforts to do this, we're naive. It's a form of black propaganda, and grey propaganda. So, if we are handling info, its really important, in fact critical, that we learn to apply discernment and judgment, and to recognize the red flags that indicate we're being scammed or manipulated.
You may have considered all this: I don't know. But I'm putting this comment here because this is one of the most important issues that exists for the truth community, in my opinion. There are LOTS of efforts being made to stop people from waking up. Over-the-top sensationalist disinfo sites that play into our emotions and confirmation biases (we KNOW that schwab and the WEF are satanic garbage and that they want to legitimatize pedophelia, etc, so we easily swallow the garbage info that Newspunch puts out here, unless we apply discernment) are one form of the work to undermine real awakening. In my opinion.
I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on this and I am thoroughly absorbing what you said and learning from it. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day
Thanks Ehjax. I really appreciate your response on this. My hope is not to be overly critical - we're all learning and building our skills in this department - and your receptive response is really encouraging, if not inspiring.
To be frank, the topic (clickbait, disinfo, scam etc) is a really hot trigger issue for me. I feel like it (clickbait, disinfo, scam, etc) is just so damaging and abusive of our excellent pedes who are simply trying to understand what's going on and share info in this crazy information war we are in. It's the one thing that really will get me riled up!
hope you have an awesome and powerful year. Looking forward to seeing your future posts!
I do try to take pride in posting information that's credible and for some reason I had it in my mind they were a credible source but like I said I'll keep this in mind going forward. I agree that in an information war its important to keep our credentials high. And no your comment wasn't too critical. It was direct, logical, informative and straight to the point. So thanks. Wishing you the same in the New Year. Cheers.
