They prolly just slipped her a proper dose of Fenbendazole + vitamins and/or Ivermectin, while claiming to alter her genes so they can claim a win for 'the gene therapy'.

Edit: And also put in for major funding for 'gene therapy' that they otherwise wouldn't get without this 'gene therapy cancer cure.'
