I'm on a "I don't need a YT video to know that" streak today, but yeah, makeup is obviously sexual in nature. I don't understand why it became default for women to wear it. as for jewellery, I'm also weary of it. even if I like the way something looks, my mind immediately darts to its symbolic implications. I'm just weird like that, diagnose me, dotwin
This is refreshing to see. So many young women (and even much older ones) are walking around looking like drag queens. You can thank Instagram and the Kardashians for that. It's grotesque, especially the spider-like fake eyelashes every girl is wearing. The only makeup I ever wear is some very light, neutral lipstick, and that's only when I'm going out, but no foundation or eye makeup or anything else. I've always figured, why look like something I'm not? My husband likes how my face looks naturally, so I don't care about anyone else. Jewelry is harder for me. I like earrings and necklaces, but I do try to keep it simple.
We're living in such extreme, gaudy times. It's no wonder the pendulum is swinging hard back to simplicity and natural style.
Azazael, the fallen angel/watcher, was condemned for teaching mankind a lot of destructive habits, including the use of cosmetics. Making weapons is totally understandable, cosmetics is a charge I've always wanted to know more about.
Colossians chapter 2
20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: 21 “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? 22 These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. 23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
My Dad always told me I had natural beauty and did not need makeup or "painted up" as he called it.
Nice cars don't need wax and tire shine then. Makeup or no is fine with me.

Kardashians sell makeup.

If god is wasting their time with this, it really explains things.
Sorry but yawn!
