Yesterday I posted a thread with some background info on both the Brunson SC Case and the House Speaker vote holdup. Increasingly its been noted that both of these things happening at the same time is ... interesting. Possible connections could exist, or perhaps its just fortunate coincedence. The legal remedy the Brunson case suggests of having over 300 members of Congress thrown out is now colliding with McCarthy's nomination to be House Speaker being held up, since NO House Member can be sworn in before a Speaker is elected.
Thus the timing of the Supreme Court deciding whether to hear arguments from the Brunson case today on January 6th combined with an entire branch of our government being "offline" and those members not yet officially having their titles and office is quite a strange coincedence. One must wonder what, if any, ramifications or consequences exist here. Both events independent of each other certainly carry much importance, and sometimes drastic events and changes can occur quite quickly in Washington as we have recently seen.
Many of us are pretty informed about both topics by this point so my goal here is not to beat a dead horse but rather to give you all the skinny on where things are at with the Brunson case, as most of the media has outright ignored it, and limited information has made it out about what is going on currently.
Seems as though the Court did review the case today! Here is a nice update mentioning this and giving a re-read of the brief and outlining the case.
Another good update found from a user on YT. He shows footage of some patriotic citizens who were gathered outside the Supreme Court earlier today to show their support for the case.
The conference at the Supreme Court today will have them looking at a grand total of 430 cases and deciding which ones to take on.
A user on Rumble posted a PRAYER message video featuring Juan O Savin earlier today.
While I didn't hear any updated news during these ladies' discussion, I wanted to send this along in case others would like to actively connect and offer prayers of their own. I will say that it was heartening and humbling reading the earnest prayer messages of many people who are watching and waiting. Coupled with the scenes of those standing outside the highest court today in the second link, I am overwhelmed at the decency and goodness of so many people in our country, who are faithfully standing strong with God and in their plea for justice to be done in His name.
- Whatever results come, we should all take a moment to appreciate that we've been brought together in our faith and hopes for a better world through all that has happened. Despite the chaos and turmoil, the common humanity we are finding as so many of us look to God and one another in the midst of the suffering is something truly special. We are blessed to count ourselves among those who can see things clear-eyed and have found a new togetherness and unity in the Lord and life.
So without further ado here is the result: Nil. We won't know until Monday at the earliest, 9:30AM. This is normal procedure for the Supreme Court. Announcements about which cases will be taken are made then. So in the meantime all, continue to hold the line and pray that we will have a favorable result.
Monday 9:30AM we'll find out. Godspeed!
I finally just finished the Patriot Streetfighter interview with Loy Brunson. I am convinced this is biblical, and Kim Clements prophecy is coming to pass. I was blown away at what Loy was saying. The phrase Follow the Pen stood out to me.
Kim was anointed by God! Will need to listen to Loy...thanks SuzyeQ!
You’re welcome ❤️🙏🏻
If it wasn't for you guys I don't know where I will be at in this world Thank you friends
9:30 Monday? Nope! I already know! ZERO CHANCE!
This Brunson thing diminishes the whole board. Dunning Kruger. You guys know nothing of actual legal procedure but opine like sages.
Cut the shit. It is a LOSER. Pray on something else.
Nice attitude there chief.
What I will say is that prima facia it IS a loser, you are right. It's partly a grift, and has been treated with "special attention and appreciation" it DOESN'T, at this point, deserve.
JustHuman has covered this. The legal remedy proffered in the case is absolutely ludicrous and unattainable. Congresspeople CANNOT be removed by the court; that process is done in the legislature. You DON'T want courts deciding on things like this and removing people from government - that would give you something more like Brazil than America. If people can be removed this way Mark Elias would JUST SUE EVERY REPUBLICAN and they'd be getting thrown out of office every month. Even IF the Supreme Court decided this as the proper legal remedy of the case THERE'S NO POSSIBLE WAY TO ENFORCE THIS.
Second of all, NOTHING UNIQUE OR SPECIAL has occurred concerning the process and development of this case on the way to the Supreme Court. You're completely right about that. The Brunsons, who I think are honest guys, and some less savoury grifter types, have either wittingly or unwittingly EMBELLISHED about the case receiving some sort of special treatment.
The Supreme Court clerks are very generous with their time in terms of offering any kind of help to pro se plaintiffs. The fact that the clerks reached out to explain to the Brunsons how to get it filed faster is a BIG NOTHING BURGER. They always do that. Just because the case qualified for expeditious review under Title 10 because it's related to national security and the SC clerks shared that with them and helped them exploit that MEANS NOTHING. The actual members of the Court have nothing to do with that. They DO NOT direct the clerks to do anything and they do not see the cases UNTIL conference like they had today.
So YES all the speculation about the Court potentially having eyes for the case and the speedy review it has gotten is BULLSHIT. Currently, THE BIGGEST THING ABOUT BRUNSON is the fact that it WAS CONSIDERED TO HAVE STANDING. Garland Favoriteau's case in GA was just ruled to have standing as well though, so really there is very little evidence that anything is LESS THAN WACKY in the eyes of the court.
However. The public outcry and thousands of letters received asking the court to take the case DO NOT GO UNNOTICED. The people standing there Friday are noticed. The Court reads newspapers and the Court reads its mail.
The case has BEEN OVERSOLD to us and is one of THOUSANDS OF WILD, SHOT IN THE DARK PRO SE CASES THAT ARE OUTRIGHT DISMISSED every year. But the support and attention it has received from the American people is what makes it unique. The fact that it had standing does make it viable to be looked at by the Supreme Court.
So it is real and not just TOTAL BULLSHIT like you say, because people have implored the Court in an unusual way. Thus, there is A WIDE OPEN CHANCE THAT THE COURT CAN DO ANY NUMBER OF THINGS WITH IT. They could conceivably take a look at any particular aspect of the case should they like and while the whole thing IS a jumbled mess there may be smaller issues and details that warrant some attention. The Court MAY, if it sees something there, try to take a look at that. Even if they dont take it they could issue something in writing explaining why.
It's very wide open, so it's kind of shitty to just angrily dismiss it out right. People ARE being oversold on it that is true but that doesnt mean it CAN'T or WON'T be looked at.
The stronger issue within it, at least to me, is the Title 28 immunity issue - the court COULD definitely use this case to examine the Constitutionality of that rule. They may decide to drop 99% of the case and do just that - in fact I see this as being likely. If the case is summarily dismissed, perhaps the Court can indicate to them (Brunsons) a way to bring that Title 28 question back to them in the format of another case.
Things such as this HAVE CERTAINLY been done before.
So don't just shit on something that gives people hope. There are merits, it wouldn't have gotten this far without any. The only problem is the hype not being realistic - but this happens with a lot of things.
Nope. You're wrong.
