Now ask this, does anyone here want a body such as SCOTUS making a decision like that? Would they become all powerful? Who would enforce that? The Executive Branch? The Military? Judge Dredd?
I believe the best we can get from a case like this, if they take it up, would be exposure to the larger problem, but the resolution will always be "We the People". Remember, optics are very important. We cannot have a plurality of the public thinking what we are calling a resolution, a coup. However, if "We the People" do it, it will be called a revolution, and this time... it will be televised.
