There was many references after the 1 hr mark and it was from the many patents the FDA applied for and approved all stemming from his work…labeled the copycat patents…he is an amazing example of a great person fighting his all to save people. His practice is still open to this day. And they do treat certain cancers with conventional (big hospitals) methods. Trying to get my sister to enroll my niece 8yrold or just talk with them to see. It’s so sad to walk down the cancer floor at our local childrens hospital
I'm so sorry to hear about your niece. I hope your sister takes your advice. In the meantime, I'll keep her in my prayers.
I know there was at least one mention of a breast cancer survivor who was treated by Dr. Burzynski. That one stuck out to me because I have loved ones who have battled this cancer. I know there were others specific to his practice, but I don't specifically remember the types off the top of my head. I do also remember the patent applications from the government that listed a variety of cancer types, but I don't know how trustworthy those mentions were.
Good on you for trying to get your sister to at least go see what they say. I'm sure she's overwhelmed right now and wants to trust what the doctors are telling her. She may need repeated gentle nudging from you just to get through the fog. You're a good brother/uncle.
disclaimer: his cure works for a specific type of brain cancer and he is up front that it does not work for all cancers.
There were references to several types of cancers treated in the movie. Brain cancer was mentioned quite a bit, but others were treated as well.
