Im not using local doctors here in Austin TX, for OBVIOUS REASONS.
So Im looking for a good trustworthy online resource for medical info and specifically Supplement uses/ warnings /risks.
I am completely avoiding sites like webmd .com and FDA .com etc.
Any experience with online sources of data that you trust?
I truthfully suggest that you invest in resources that you would have even if the internet goes down or you were some place with no access to the internet. Online resources are great, but anyone can pretty much post anything and it is up to you to discern the truthfulness of anything you read. I have the following books concerning this subject and I have many more that deal with medical info that contains information on supplements/warnings/risks.
The Supplement Handbook by Mark Moyad, M.D., M.P.H
Encyclopedia of Nutritional Supplements by Michael T. Murray N.D.
A-Z Guide to Drug-Herb-Vitamin Interactions by Alan R. Gaby M.D.
I also check out interactions and or risks when adding any new supplements, medications etc. People often think all alternative medicine is innocuous and while we know people die of drug interactions, people can also die using other natural remedies, which is why it is essential to understand everything you are utilizing.
I will say, these resources have come in handy in the past for me and I can't express enough how important the issue of warnings and risks is when taking or utilizing ANYTHING.
I already own two of the above.
But I have lost faith in ANYONE who has MD after their name, unless someone of likemind with me can say that they have vetted, or reason to consider the 'good doctor' to be provably other than cabal.
And I ESPECIALLY distrust anything coming out of a Cabal/Jewish controlled publishing house.
Not all MD's are bought and paid for...there are many MD's that utilize the best of both worlds or are completely alternatively based...you just have to be able to discern the info given to you by anyone and make decisions based on YOUR knowledge, understanding of your body and intuition. I had a doctor one time that told me I read too much...meaning I should just trust his knowledge 100%...well I never went back. All the doctors I have ever had were willing to answer questions and have actual discussions about the condition, treatments, etc..... otherwise, I had no use for them. I had home births and did not vaccinate my kids...so I am pretty far off the beaten path, but the Lord has blessed me with many wonderful MD's (who did the home births) and other ND's, and Chiropractors, etc. They are out there.
The hardest time for me was when my kids all had whooping cough...I almost lost trust in myself and my decisions...it was a hard time. But it is a great feeling to be the master of your own destiny as far as health issues goes. There is a lot of self-trust involved. That is why...when I get an author I like...I am a fan for life. Good luck on your quest...it is a lot of fun!
