Every church that wanders from the Bible in any area or omits inconvenient truth from it will be having issues. Here is why;
Revelation 22:18-19
For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
When I was a child, I went from a Baptist church where the Spirit was moving so well that a lot of the congregation was asked to leave. A faction broke off and formed a more evangelical church. In high school, I went to a Foresquare church and in college a Vineyard. These are non-denomination church associations. When it comes to Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, and those sleepy denominations, I find them to be so boring and dead in spirit. There is so much more out there than the dogmatic, overly-traditional denominational churches.
When I was little my mom took me to a Free Methodist (next church was Baptist) where I accepted Jesus at age five.
The church is irrelevant to what sign says though. I was just sharing an inconvenient Truth from Truth social
Sage advice. The time is short. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Turn to Jesus now!
Methodist church is having a war among themselves. I'm Methodist and I'm praying if I should pull my membership or not...
