Too bad, if they could see the whole picture Gaetz, MTG, Trump, and maybe even McCarthy pulled a fast one on the Dems. Even AOC, in a weird way, played a role. Gaetz knew she would freak out at the idea there was a deal for Dems to vote present to put McCarthy in the chair. He leveraged her persality to make sure that didn’t happen before the concessions were made.
