Does she really think they can do anything except obstruct? Republicans literally only hold 1 chamber and by a small margin, the senate will never pass anything they vote on and if by some miracle they did Biden would just veto it anyways. All talk no action
The house controls ALL spending, all they need to do is deny the funding.
You mean vote no to the money that was already voted on, approved and began appropriating in 2022? They dont revote on these kinds acts every year, thats just not how it works. As someone else said, shes banking on us being stupid, and its working...
The house doesnt even control "all spending" anyways, the senete can also create budget bills, and the excutive branch gets a fuck ton to use how they please with littke oversight. Sure they have to be voted on but they also have to be signed by the president, so does he control ALL the spending too?
Exactly.
Why do so many people think the House has complete control on spending?
Is one of the Q gurus on YouTube telling you all this?
Bills concerning the budget and spending originate in the House, but they still have to go through the process of getting the bill passed.

This is like Civics 101.
It's also just common sense 101. If the House could just approve or deny funding as they wished, what would have stopped the Dems from approving Obama care or the New Green Deal straight off, or stopped a Republican controlled House from defunding the IRS, Obama care, welfare, etc... straight off?
glad they are doing it, but you are right none of it means anything, except political points for future elections. Kinda like when they voted to repeal obamacare with no power, then got power and suddenly didn't want to repeal it anymore.
