I disagree.

A full inquistion needs to run through that entire industry. The guilty found and punished. Followed by a full and complete changeover of personnel. everyone gone. Even the 'innocent" because they sat on their hands and watched it all happen. Which in and of itself is a violation of the purpose to even have a "free press".

Then bring back in only those that got loud about the crime and corruption dominating that industry. And over time, refill the ranks with actual investigators and reporters, and test to exclude all those idiot Karens that self identify as busy body know it alls in high school "journalism" courses.
