When he says "southern district" is he referring to SDNY? I just want to make sure I'm tracking properly.

Yes and this is saying a lot because SDNY has a ton of resources. They were heavy for all of the terrorism investigations stemming from 9/11

Right. "SDNY" is mentioned in 11 Q posts as well. This one in particular stood out to me.
