You Never announce that you have Smoking Gun evidence against someone Powerful and say I will be releasing it soon! There's a 99.999 % probability that you Will Die Suddenly and Before you release your Smoking Gun evidence. Andrew Breitbart comes to mind but there are others. Just post it online but have multiple backups to protect yourself and family from retribution.
