Yes, some interesting stuff on Robert Bork if you look into that whole nomination drama. I believe he was a conservative targeted by liberals, but unclear exactly who was on which side there.

I suspect it was GW Bush Sr/CIA that intentionally cratered Reagan's nomination of Robert Bork by using their media manipulation and Operation Mockingbird techniques: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Bork_Supreme_Court_nomination
