Interesting that they are referencing Special Operations forces vs Special Forces. That would indicate CAG (Delta) not Green Berets (Special Forces). Also could be 75th Rangers too. Then again, it’s a Brit source. Time to check Fayetteville Observer.
They are based out of Bragg, so possible. Usually Special Forces is referred to as Special forces, not "special operations forces", which is usually reserved for JSOC units. I have a source who would know, but I have to approach the topic very carefully. Maybe next week I'll bring it up.
