Straka never went in and shot 8 minutes of footage outside the doors on the East End of the building, but because he is an influencer and notable figure that was present (and not working WITH the Glowies) they destroyed his life and bankrupted him with legal fees.
This was of course not isolated to him, hundreds of others had their whole lives torn apart simply for being present near the Capitol building.
Straka says there was a lot of confusion. The police or people had completely removed barricades and set them out of sight in some cases. This inevitably led to people *standing places they shouldn't be and having no idea they weren't allowed to be there.
