This is fairly normal weather, we just haven't seen it for a few seasons.

I live in the mountains around the Bay Area and we've been hit pretty hard but we've had worse. A few years back it rained for two months straight which was also a normal occurrence.

When we dont have rain, its a drought and the end of the world. Then we get rain and its a catastrophy and the end of the world.

The difference between the past and now, is that now everything has to be a crisis to push one narrative or the other.

Hehe sorry live in California these storms have been a joke so far. We whine about everything.

Edit: oh and the "big one" he mentions at the start is raining on the ocean and will only be a sprinkle by the time it hits land. California storms are over until February.
