Am I mistaken but didn’t the Nephilim exist pre flood? Shouldn’t they have been destroyed completely?
The Nehpilim before the flood were half-human/half-fallen angel creatures that corrupted the entire earth. It is what caused the God to end them. When Genesis was written after the flood, it was notated that they also existed afterward, after the flood. In what form? Certainly Giants, but not exclusively.
