Chinese have a 12 year animal cycle which is the "terrestrial" part and a ten year cycle which is the "celestial" part. The latter is confusing because there are two parts for each element, i.e. two kinds of water, standing and running, two kinds of wood, two of fire, sometimes those distinctions are ignored or lumped to make five, so there are 60 years in a cycle
