This is not true. Band was formed before Chester was a part of it and they recruited him later.

Yes, and no. When Chester joined the band it was called Xero, then briefly Hybrid Thoery, before settling on Linkin Park. So Chester was in the band when the name Linkin Park was chosen. Supposedly as an homage to Lincoln Park in Santa Monica
