And I went to Buffalo Lick Baptist church today. Had a great message. May go back. Put it on my go back list until we decide for sure. Beautiful Chapel. Has the arched wooden beams coming to a point in the chapel, stained glass window above the Pulpit and a beautiful baptismal. White brick up to the bottom of the windows and then the beautiful wood that matches the arched beams to the ceiling. And this is a country church out in the middle of nowhere. Built in 1888 and burned down sometime in 196??. Rebuilt it in 1969. Lovely congregation of people. Very welcoming. Music could use a little upbeat but I would go there.
Thanks. I talked to an elderly man in the foyer of the church when I was leaving. He had on glasses but apologized to me for being blind. I could not tell it. He said the VA hospital gave him some kind of reading device to help him see to read. Then I thought he was going to cry when we talked of God's creation of the sunrises and sunsets. I had no idea this man was blind.
I wonder why it is that some people always have a 'put down' on things they don't like or find to 'think' to be true. Reading your reply sounds like I'm watching MSM News. I'm so sorry that you disagree with me. I was simply telling a friend how beautiful a church it was to be out in the Country with nothing around. Usually country churchs aren't that elaborate. And as for your Baptismal, I was baptised and am very happy that I did it as I am now a member of God's family. I don't know what Bible you read or where you get your info, but perhaps you may need to go back and re read it several times. God bless you and I pray you a very happy upcoming week.
No. But confessing my sin, and accepting Jesus in my heart did. The immersion of water is aligned with 'being born again.' Buried in the likeness of his death, raised in the likeness of his resurrection.

False.
