Didn't make it past the gift shop at the visitors center. Figured I would take a day away from current events and just enjoy a day of History.

Books in the gift shop we're about getting rid of the Electoral College, 1619, everything by Ibram X Kendi, books by Cokie Roberts in the esteemed historian section, anti racism card games, books by Madeline Albright, books titled "OMG WTF it's History".

I shouldn't be surprised. The place was owned by the DuPont family who are of course linked to the Bidens. From a previous post here someone mentioned that Beau as AG only asked for three months sentence for a DuPont family member for raping a relative.

Monticello straight up gave me the heebie jeebies. The story about the underage slave girl really creeped me out. The smugness of the people at the site was very palpable even a decade ago.
