We were without power for 147 days....that's a total of 3528 hrs...🤬🤬🤬🤬... believe it or not it's actually getting worse.....At the moment we don't have power for between 9 and 12 hrs a day....EVERYDAY!!... My sister lives in val de vie and she and her husband have a 1k gallon diesel generator along with a manmade pond that is fed by a nearby river.
When they built the house there wasnt the power outages like today, but their reasoning was the droughts.
They have 100 olive trees, 8k feet of roses and a vineyard. They wanted a guarantee they could keep them watered.
When power goes out, it takes about 1 second for the power to come back on via generator, but can you imagine the bill when it is time to fill that generator back up with diesel.
Damn
