At least 50 children were found cleaning Midwest slaughterhouses. They are believed to be the product of human trafficking. Thanks Joe.

And they got in trouble because at 13 year old dropped out of school. They investigated her parents who were fine with sending her to work. Crazy people.
Not to defend it, but many states permit child labor with stipulations, Nebraska is one of those, and frequently farmer families will of course have the kids help out on the farm.
Doesn't sound to be the case here (although Nebraska does allow children to work at slaughterhouses in a limited capacity) but just providing a little bit of clarity that people may not know.

Yep I like in a farming area and people do have their kids help out with things and often miss a few weeks of school. But working graveyard at a slaughterhouse seems a bit more of a serious, not reasonable thing, to ask kids to help with.
