The hermaphrodite part is factual from what I've seen. I can't confirm if the male parts were removed or not.

Classic Snopes: "Long-standing rumor holds that actress Jamie Lee Curtis acknowledged in an interview that she was born with both male and female sex organs."

They are only "fact-checking," she "acknowledged in an interview." not that she was born with both male and female sex organs.
