Will we call the new set of billionaires "the good guys" because they "freed" us from the bad guys, and be thankful for our new overlords? I don't want to get fooled again.

Resourcefully, no. The founding fathers were tremendous philosophers, and we're fluent in the democratic arguments from Aristotle through Locke, and they did an epic job to design a robust government based in the God-given rights of the common man, but which required a majority of civic -minded, Christian-valued populace.
We will have to improve that model slightly to make it harder to infiltrate, harder to buy out and corrupt, require clean civics and history to be taught, require basic knowledge of the system to have voting rights, require honest participation by those paying taxes, fair tax so that means everybody, etc. This should lead to permanently disband and prohibit federal employee unions that act against their country, term limits, erase federal intrusion and prohibit it forever, etc.
