'Endemic' software flaw could take years to address, US government review finds | CNN Politics
It could take a decade to fully eradicate a critical vulnerability found last year in software used by governments and tech firms around the world from some computer systems, a Department of Homeland Security review board said Thursday.
its a diversion, its an inside job...
yawn,
next..
They will put in a even better flaw when they fix it.
Is it 1999 again?
Yeah, but the Y2K flaw wasn't a problem because all of the big companies put forth a massive effort to get around it. I know because I was one of the programmers. Like they say, knowing is half the battle, now we're gonna see what they do.
When they finally decide to bring down the internet to keep the masses from finding out the truth, they will use this as the excuse.
Just a way to sell computer virus protection. Begin stirring the pot early so Microsoft and Apple have enough time to throw some CD's into boxes and then sell them to suckers for $149 a pop.
Got this in an email from someone I know, but don't know if it's a valid concern or just a way to control the internet even more.
