That sent it a little chill down my spine. I was in my twenties in the 80's. His music was everywhere. I'd really like to know the story behind people like him, Jackson, Belushi and others in that era that "died suddenly" in differing ways....or so we were told. Maybe they were all based, maybe they wouldn't go along to get along...or maybe their clock ran out. Great talents dead relatively young.
They killed Belushi for sure and the Saturday night live crew knew ,, remember they said it and mooned the TV , I am still bummed that they killed him. MJ too and so many more
Makes this SNL sketch that much more spooky.
It left me unsettled the first time I saw it on the live show, and every time i've watched it since.
Wow I never seen that TY ,, I sure do miss him ,, he controlled the masses in a good way ,, the fks couldn’t have someone out there with such a huge voice and following ,, so sad, they killed so many good ones !
Like I said, it really hit me deep and stuck with me after I first saw it. In hindsight, it really was a 'think mirror' kind of thing. They portrayed him as the last and he WAS, actually, the first to go. So sad, and poor Jim could never measure up....
I second that. I remember seeing MJ speaking to a group on the street, seemed like paparazzi and a crowd, where he denied being a pedophile and accusing "them" for portraying him that way and trying to destroy him. Despite his settlements and hanging his kid over the edge of a balcony, I recall what he said striking a nerve with me and I'm not sure about anything with him aside from his massive talent and him having a difficult childhood.
