I recently returned to work(off caring for my mother s/p a hip surgery). I work at the bedside in ICU/PCUs. I worked on the front lines when the Coof ramped up(3 years ago). Upon returning to work I was surprised to see that Remdesivir was still being ordered for Coof+ patients with the kidney/liver damage that it causes. I have never given the vax and won't; I won't give Remdesivir(I am unvaxxed and I refused Remdesivir in December 2021 when I was an inpatient with the Coof...or whatever it truly is...). If I can locate the studies/finding should I have copies of the Remdesivir trials? Will I be asked to leave/be fired for refusing to administer dangerous treatments? I am, also, sending this question to America's Frontline Doctors...not sure if I will get an answer....BTW, thank you to everyone on this site. It makes me feel "less crazy"!
Looking for legal advice regarding my job as a nurse. What are the consequences if I refuse to administer/give Remdesivir, the Vax, etc.? Do I have any legal recourse as an "advocate"?
LAWFAGS IN THE HOUSE?
It’s difficult to say whether or not Remdesivir contributed to the pneumo. Were you given steroids as well(dexamethasone)? Were you given any antibiotics for the pneumonia? My observation has been that Remdesivir harshly affects the kidneys/liver which causes inability to filter the blood/body leading to organ problems (simplifying). I have heard that some facilities were withholding antibiotics from patients after they got pneumonia as a secondary condition related to the Coof(or whatever it truly is). I cannot attest to this personally but after the CDC protocols were issued it was as if doctors lost the ability to treat/think critically/independently. I am very sorry you had to experience this. Do you believe you are suffering from Long Haul or the pneumo & chest tube placements?
I don't think I'm long hauling. I do think I have a lot of lung scar tissue from the ordeal. I get winded a little easier but building back up with exercise. I'll have to check my records on what all they gave me. I did get a feeling that the staff at this hospital was sincerely trying to help me and they didnt have me on remdisvir as long as was normal for the rest of the country. Not experiencing organ issues that I'm aware of yet and this was all in 2021 so... hoping im in the clear there. Was just curious about remdisvir/lung collapse relation. I am quite sure there was a steroid involved but I dont recall it's name off the top of my head.
Code, I am glad you are progressing forward. I hope I didn't give the wrong perception by starting this thread...I do believe that most people in the medical field(at the bedside) are sincerely trying to help patients. But the longer that this "situation" (manufactured pandemic) go on the more observations I make about the medical field in general...my observation was in healthy individuals with a serious case of Covid after given Remdesivir was their kidney function would take a hit and continue in an unhealthy progression and without discernible positive improvement of the Covid infection itself. This was not a scientific study...only my observation which sent me on a mission to research it. I found studies with conflicting outcomes, but based on my personal observations of caring for these individuals led me to lean towards "this medication's benefits do NOT outweigh its risks!
Your insight is appreciated. Keep up the good work.
