Why do Christians struggle with law being abolished?
All things were created through the Son, Jesus Christ.
The sixth day Adam was created through Jesus Christ.
The fall of man was created through Jesus Christ.
The patriarch was created through Jesus Christ.
The pedestined sons of God in Christ were created through Jesus Christ.
The reconciliation of the world was created through Jesus Christ.
The deliverance of the world from the bondage of corruption was created through Jesus Christ.
The completed perfect creation was created through Jesus Christ.
Why cling to the abolished law?
Seventh Day Adventists try to separate out the "law of commandments contained in ordinances" from the rest of the law. However, Paul's letter to the Galatians shows that if you try to keep any part of the law, even circumcision, you are a debtor to keep the whole law (Gal. 5:3). Not only that, but you are under a curse (3:10) and in slavery (4:24-25) and have no hope to inherit the promise made to Abraham (3:14, 4:30) which is the Spirit of the Son sent forth into our hearts (4:6). Now, if we are led by the Spirit, we are not under the law (5:18).
Very good info, thank you.
