He's deader'n a doornail. If he was well enough to attend a football game in the box, he was well enough to be on the sidelines with his teammates. That's what any team player would do. Oh...it was snowing would be the excuse. There would be interviews and all sorts of photo ops inside. Even in the locker room. His teammates know he's probably dead and are under gag orders from the NFL.
