I'm happy to see the social security recipients mentioned a bit more often lately on social media, but in my opinion it's still not often enough.

My parents barely get by and there are millions like them. Almost nobody talks about the elderly that depend on SS in an age where the Federal Government is more than happy to give billions to every entity on the planet except its own citizens (unless you happen to be a member of a left-wing voting bloc).

Hope to see more of this. I've started writing to representatives on a weekly basis to increase social security and then listing all of the stupid shit they spent money on instead. I'm hoping others will start to do the same.
