Well they mostly have cars and drive from farm to farm. Our workers tend to come from an hour south. There are agencies, or just random guys, that you say how many people you want to show up and they say if they have workers available.

In Tijuana people live in shacks that probably have running water and work in factories. They drive a few hours north and have nice apartments. They say how great it is they can get Medicare and they can normally afford a nice car. If there is consistent work they will call some cousins or friends and tell them it's a good time to come, it's a limitless supply of workers many of whom back and forth seasonally.
