Not to go into the entire story again, but I'm the only person at work who refused to get the jab. The entire company of 50+people got it.
I told them my reasons back then, even got into heated debate. Was pressured. Wasn't invited to the Christmas party due to safety concerns.
Sitting having break today, a group of 4 guys I know fairly well were talking about the side effects they've been hearing about from their drs, and that they won't be taking anything else.
I just listened to them. I didn't speak up even though I wanted to say I told you so. They brought up people who didn't take it having zero issues. I think they expected me to say something at that point, but I let my silence speak for itself .
At one point one guy whispered, fearing being heard by the other people in the cafe I guess, "You really have to wonder if where there's smoke there's fire at this point"
It is indeed happening. I think it's quietly progressing faster than we think.
My son said at his work, the guys have a "One and done" philosophy. I wanted him to quit initially, but he said he worked too hard to get that job. Ugh. At least he is not getting any more. I found it interesting when he told me that yesterday. "One and done" They were mandated to get the vax.
One and done? What's the point of doing it at all if you don't follow through with the whole program?
