My understanding is that it was coordinated by both sides, as an intentional destruction of Germany. Hitler was Rothschild-cabal controlled opposition that usurped took over the movement (see Q: what really happened with the Hindenburg disaster) against the Weimar craziness that had been primed. I get some of that from old books and the decoding symbols blogger. But operation paperclip (and possibly op high jump, but that's harder to get results on) is a big tell demonstrating that the US Gov't's actions went contrary to the public narrative. So kind of like the Europa take, but without championing Hitler.
