I don't have any of the books in hand to be able to quote her accurately. I would like to re-read a couple of them because I always had the impression that she was trying to tell us something. Now that I am awake I think I might catch much more.
One concept and sorry, not sure which book I read it in but these "evil" characters are in more than one of them I think. Her concept was that they were evil because they were never "named". They had no name, no identity so thus they were ignored as if they didn't exist and that is what made them malevolent. That if they had names they could become good. I don't think I agree with it but it was interesting to think on.
A Wrinkle in Time (skip the woke movie and read the actual book) has always been a favorite but I recommend any of the novels.
Thats very interesting indeed, I understand in moloch or baal worship they all stand 6’ ft apart and wear masks. (Correct me if I’m wrong)The masks represent no voice or some shit like what you said, no identity. You surrender that to the evil entity. Im going to read her books, thanks fren. And remember, life is good & all is well ! NCSWIC
As Christians we believe that God has our names inscribed on the palm of His Hand. We are known. L'Engle was a Universalist, all are saved. I wouldn't say that she was right about the mysteries BUT I do think she raised very interesting questions.
I never read her books, feel free to share anything she said woth me fren
