According to ❗️rumours❗️the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in accordance with the data transmitted by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny to the Pentagon, amount to 232 thousand killed.
According to the private company Stratfor Forecasting, Ukraine's losses exceeded 305,000 killed. And this isn’t even counting the wounded.
Are bridges in Ukraine rated for the weight of an Abrams?
Ask any US tanker that spent time in Graf how the Abrams does in mud.
What a great question.
I doubt it, and it's lighter than the British Challenger 2!
Look I'm what you call in the USA an ex Tanker (something different in my country) and spent 10 yrs on them before going on to something else.
When the forces of NATO in Germany deployed to the front line to stop any advancing Russian attack, our survival time in a Chally 2 was around 21 mins!
I'm telling you, from experience, if you haven't worked, lived and breathed these machines for a long time, the crews going onto them will stand little chance.
They are big beasts, and break down a lot. In the 90's there were very little spares for them. We sent 2 Regiments to war and those left behind were completely cannibalised just to keep them going!
You ain't just going to do a 2 week course and jump on and operate them, working as a crew with years of experience even then the reliability was an issue as well as getting the spares.
Time's moved on for heavy armour, its weakest point is from a top down missile attack, and with all the drones, missile systems etc I sure as hell wouldn't want to be in one in Ukraine!
😳
