Yes I know a State cop that just retired - and he’s only in his 50s but has 20+ years in-he didn’t even wait to figure out what his benefits would be. The culture around cops now is brutal- and in my state of MA there’s been a recent witch hunt on state cops & certain abuses or tit jobs & overtime pay being taken away & scrutinized. Dude wasn’t involved in a witch hunt but he seen the writing on the wall & hit the exit door.
