NEWSPUNCH?
Newspunch is a long-standing clickbait site that exhibits extremely poor or non-existent journalistic skills. Newspunch has been around since at least 2018, and back in th day when patriots around the world were latching on to Q and waking up to begin their journy into becoming anons, NewsPunch had a field day.
Just a few hours ago, our prolific and awesome u/Undine53 posted an article and headline from Newspunch.
I think that the article and the posting of content from Newspunch is a good opportunity to examine some of the ways in which clickbait works, how that is relevant to anons, and what potential outcomes of disinfo clickbait operations can do.
What is clickbait? Clickbait's primary methodology is to use exaggerated, distorted, or fabricated headlines and content in order to trigger an emotionally charged response that quickly overrides any semblance of discernment, critical thinking or reasoning in the mind of the reader.
Back in the day, clickbait made money by getting people to click and thereby earn ad revenue. But Clickbait has also been widely incorporated into the disinformation operations of the Cabal and their minions as well. It is used to inject fake and false or distorted narratives, achieving numerous possible outcomes:
-
distort or camouflage the truth to dampen any awakening process that the real truth will aid
-
discredit patriotic or other truth seekers by flooding the sphere with purposefully created false narratives "You believe in Q? Oh, you also believe that JFK Junior is really the current vice president, right?"
-
undermine the development towards clear thinking and fuller comprehension of somewhat awakened people by enabling and perpetuating the programming that is so heavily relied on with the normie masses - emotionalistic responses instead of reasoned, clear or critical thinking
And more. For multiple reasons, anons should ALWAYS be aware that there are disinfo operations going on against us and the normies all the time, and we should develop a strong discernment that spots and quickly identifies clickbait-like disinfo opps, etc.
Review of the Article
Florida To Begin Sentencing Pedophiles to Death – Democrats Outraged
False. There is NO evidence that Florida is *going to begin sentencing". What Florida is going to be doing is to begin pursuing the possibility of using capital punishment in certain pedophile cases. ONCE that possibility becomes real, THEN Florida could begin sentencing, but certainly not before that.
See the distortion? Possibility and potential. Is there any difference? Absolutely. But journalistic integrity is not something clickbait has any interest in.
Fact-checked
That should be a giveaway right there. WHO does "fact checking" or posts "fact checked" on their stories except sites that want mindless sheep (or unthinking humans) to accept it because it has been "fact checked"?
the death penalty for anybody convicted of pedophilia in Florida.
This is a flat out lie. DeSantis indicated that he wants to pursue the possibility to use capital punishment for "the worst of the worst" "serial offenders" etc. But CLICKBAIT NewsPunch writes "for anybody convicted of pedophilia".
Why would any legitimate news organization or journalist want to distort the actual facts so much? Either they are high on crack, or they are intentionally putting out narratives that have the semblance of factualness, but which in fact deliberately distort the information in order to trigger the emotional response that overrides more balanced reasoning and critical thinking. That balanced, reasoned or critical thinking has to be pushed out of the way so that the fake content can go viral or spread more easily.
Whose emotional trigger is Newspunch targeting here? As they have always done for the last 5 years, it's YOU. It's patriots, it's those who see a lot of the corruption and want things to be different.
Undiscerning anons become such easy targets for these guys IF we do not learn to apply discernment and Q-like critical thinking skills for ANY information thrown at us.
Favorite topics? Pedos? Check. Trials? Check. Punishment for crims? Check. Psyops? Check. Rothschilds? Check.
So many topics trigger an instant reaction from anons and awakened folks, because we've been sensitized in a way that is different to normies. But, in these cases, how different from the normies are we? Not that different. (Look how many responses the Newspunch post garnered on our board, with almost NO critical review or discussion of the actual content! Seems almost like 90%+ are simply going along on the basis of the headline (which is false).
The rest of the article is simply Newspunch writing a transcription of DeSantis' speech.
So, a news article with highly exaggerated and deceptive headlines, padded by no news except essentially what the video says.
Learn to read the signs. Know your clickbait sites. NEWPUNCH is clickbait.
Another good example is REAL RAW NEWS, although RRN is a lot more overt and takes the disinfo to a completely new level for the more gullible. (Also, compare the formatting and look. Similarities? Hmmm...)

NewsPunch: clickbait at best, but much more likely a disinfo/distortion operation.
Edit/Addendum: For a slightly more palatable and reliable sauce (Foxnews) on the DeSantis announcement, see Purkiss' post: https://greatawakening.win/p/16a9qIDJxd/its-hard-to-think-of-anything-wo/c/
Reply to a Mod we love, who sticked his <ahem> mistaken </ahem> comment.
Read the analysis and draw the correct distinctions. (You read the post, right?)
Are the Fox report and the Newspunch report really "the same article"? Clearly, they are not. They deal with the same topic/issue, but their treatment is wildly different.
Despite Fox being flawed corp media, they are at least posting facts here. Newspunch distorts the facts, using emotive language and ideas in their headlines and body to elicit a distorted response. Don't you think there is any difference?
Often, disinfo and clickbait work by merging disinfo with fact. Often info with some legitimacy is used to give the disinfo/clickbait the semblance of validity and credibility. But then, the facts are abused and pushed aside for the purpose of the site: spread disinfo, accomplish clickbait-type reactions.
As my post explains, Newspunch posted a headline that stated "Florida To Begin Sentencing Pedophiles to Death" which is a clear distortion of the facts.
Florida is going pursue being able to apply capital punishment to "the worst of the worst" and "serial offenders" according to DeSantis. Can Florida begin sentencing when that possibility has not even been established?
Newspunch writes: Governor Ron DeSantis has announced plans to introduce the death penalty for anybody convicted of pedophilia in Florida.
False. RS states very clearly in his speech, that he wants to have that option for "the worst of the worst", etc.
See the Fox news article "If you're going to have capital [punishment], you have to administer it to the worst of the worst crimes." In his speech, DeSantis describes what he considers to be such worst of the worst crimes.
Notice also the emotive reaction word "death" as opposed to "capital punishment". Notice the use of "Fact Checked" at the head of the Newspunch article.
The point is about how sites like Newspunch distort the facts and posts misleading content in order to poison the waterhole.
Stating that the Fox News report is "The same article" as the Newspunch article is an egregious distortion of fact itself. The TOPIC of the articles is the same, but the articles themselves are very different, and the character of NewsPunch as a clickbait/disinfo/distortion website is what is under examination in this post here.
What are we supposed to do when a mod himself is willing or unable to apply discernment and distinction and then stickies the mistaken comment?
Your reply is as well-thought and well-written as your post, FractalizingIron. "Same topic" isn't necessarily "Same story" and your entire discussion about clickbait and the need for discernment is excellent.
Thanks Narg.
I'm going to take a break, but after yesterday's kafuffle, I really appreciate the encouraging feedback.
It's a hot topic for me, so I probably can do with a bit of a cool off, but enough folks have at least offered some supportive feedback, so I don't feel the effort is entirely useless...
