I do think it was a vax clot. Fortunately he got excellent immediate care. Many will loose that battle just because of how quick they get the care. Most sports do not have medical staff and an ambulance immediately available. I think they removed the clot(s) at the hospital, but never mentioned what they did. I also think that prayer was a large part of his survival and recovery. That and being an elite athlete.
