They believe:

a) it's not a gift; it's a "clump of cells"

b) it's not a "baby" until the cord is cut; see (a)

c) there's nobody to thank for the "clump of cells" because it was manmade

It's so very tragic that taking the lives of God's creations before they even emerge from the womb is legal, but such is the state of this corrupted world.
